The Practice

Hilton Family Dentistry is the continuation of a long-standing dental practice in the Village of Hilton. Originally started by Dr. Robert Morriss in 1975 , the practice operated under his leadership with tremendous thought and caring, always focusing on patient care. Throughout Dr. Morriss’ career he has assembled a very dedicated and skilled staff who are particularly focused on improving the oral health of all their patients. Over the years it has been particularly rewarding to see the growth of families, the resulting start of new families, and the continuation of quality care rendered across generations in his office.

As Dr. Morriss’ family grew, as well his desire to spend time with grandchildren, the need for help at the office arose. As a result, he sought out a younger dentist whose ideals he shared.

Dr. Scott Overholt arrived in February of 2010 and brought with him new services to offer Dr. Morriss’ patients. The common goals and values shared between the doctors led to a wonderful relationship in which Dr. Morriss was able to mentor Dr. Overholt in the ways of truly centering on patient wellness and their best interest.

As the relationship evolved, Dr. Morriss’ confidence in Dr. Overholt grew to a level of comfort in which the opportunity to purchase the practice was discussed.  With a great deal of honor and excitement Dr. Overholt agreed and the creation of Hilton Family Dentistry occurred.
